Marble

Natural marble is a metamorphic rock formed by the recrystallization of carbonate minerals under intense geological heat and pressure. For exterior paving requiring higher acid resistance, contractors often pair marble cladding with wholesale granite or dense quartzite slabs. From a structural engineering perspective, our selected marble varieties provide balanced mechanical properties:

• Compressive Strength: 100 to 160 MPa (ASTM C170 standard testing)
• Bulk Density: 2.60 to 2.75 g/cm³ (ASTM C97)
• Water Absorption Rate: 0.15% to 0.35% by weight, ensuring durability in indoor moisture environments
• Mohs Hardness: 3 to 4, allowing high-precision machining and edge profiling

Depending on the slip-resistance coefficient, maintenance requirements, and architectural design drawings, we provide the following surface treatments:

• Polished Finish: Mechanical diamond-abrasive polishing reaching a gloss level above 85°, bringing out natural vein contrast.
• Honed Finish: Smooth, satin matte finish with zero glare, ideal for high-traffic commercial flooring and wet areas.
• Brushed & Antique Finish: Steel wire brush processing creating a textured, tactile surface.
• Bush-Hammered & Sandblasted: Uniform textured roughness designed for exterior slip-resistant steps and wall claddings.
• Leathered Finish: Acid-treated and textured brush application that retains stone character while resisting fingerprint marks.

Our workshops maintain dimensional accuracy within strict engineering limits:

• Thickness Tolerance: ±0.5 mm for calibrated 10–20 mm tiles; ±1 mm for slabs over 30 mm.
• Diagonal & Right-Angle Tolerance: Within ±0.5 mm deviation per linear meter.
• Edge Profiling Capabilities: Straight bevel, bullnose, half-bullnose, ogee, mitered 45° apron joints, and customized CNC edge profiles.

Primary Application Sectors:

• Interior Floor & Wall Coverings: High-volume modular tiles (600 × 600 mm, 800 × 800 mm, 1200 × 600 mm) and book-matched feature wall installations for hotel lobbies and commercial interiors.
• Countertops & Vanity Units: Prefabricated kitchen worktops, vanity tops with undermount sink cutouts, and waterfall-edge island surfaces.
• Staircases & Specialized Masonry: Calibrated treads with anti-slip grooves, risers, baseboards, threshold saddles, and elevator entrance door surrounds.
• Bespoke Waterjet Medallions: Multi-stone inlay floor medallions fabricated according to vector CAD drawings.

• Direct Quarry Block Selection: We select grade-A natural marble blocks directly from primary quarry sites, guaranteeing vein consistency and density across large batch orders.
• Strict Dry-Lay Inspection: Before packing, our quality inspectors lay out 100% of the cut-to-size tiles on the workshop floor according to your shop drawings. We inspect vein continuity, categorize tonal variations, eliminate micro-cracks, and print clear sequence numbers on the back of each piece for accurate on-site installation.
• ISPM-15 Standard Fumigated Packaging: Slabs and custom tiles are secured inside heat-treated, heavy-duty wooden crates. Interior surfaces are lined with 10 mm shock-absorbing closed-cell foam and sealed with waterproof poly-sheeting.
• Container Weight Optimization: We calculate container loading limits according to specific destination port weight regulations (e.g., 21 to 27 metric tons per 20GP container), maximizing product volume while preventing in-transit cargo shifting.
